Kristy and Levi had a clear vision for their engagement session. Instead of a traditional outdoor location, they wanted something that felt more like a night out together, and the setting they chose fit their vision perfectly.
Kristy found the perfect bar for their session Downtown Detroit. The space had dimmed lighting and a speakeasy feel, which instantly created an intimate atmosphere. The darker setting added such a romantic mood and made their engagement photos feel unique and personal.
It was so fun to switch things up with a darker venue for a more intimate engagement session. Locations like this bring such a different energy compared to traditional sessions and really allow couples’ personalities to shine. During the session, Kristy and Levi shared a champagne toast and enjoyed cocktails together while I captured their portraits.
