Elli and Paul shared a beautiful wedding day centered around faith, love, and meaningful moments with their family and friends. Their ceremony took place at St. Joan of Arc Church in St. Clair Shores, followed by a reception at the stunning War Memorial in Grosse Pointe Farms.

Elli and Paul began their day at The War Memorial where they shared a quiet and intimate First Touch. Standing back-to-back with each other, they held hands and privately shared their vows before the ceremony. It was such a heartfelt moment that allowed them to connect before the excitement of the day truly began.

Even though they shared this private moment, Elli and Paul chose to reserve their first look for the aisle, making the ceremony even more emotional when they finally saw each other face-to-face. Their ceremony at St. Joan of Arc was deeply meaningful and centered around Christ, creating a sacred and joyful atmosphere as they committed their lives to one another.

After the ceremony, we headed to The War Memorial for portraits, cocktail hour, and the reception. The War Memorial is filled with incredible history, dating back to the early 1900s. Today it stands as a historic landmark featuring the 1910-built Alger House, and it now serves as a place that honors those who served while enriching the local community.

Guests enjoyed a relaxed cocktail hour overlooking the lakefront, which provided a beautiful backdrop and peaceful setting for everyone to celebrate together.

From their heartfelt ceremony to the joyful celebration along the water, Elli and Paul truly had a beautiful wedding day. I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to document their love and all the meaningful moments that made their day so special.
