The Casnovia Barn
Located in the heart of Casnovia, Michigan, The Casnovia Barn is one of West Michigan’s newest wedding venues. This stunning venue officially opened in Fall 2025 and it’s already making such an impression. This stunning property blends historic character with modern refinement, offering an elevated experience in a countryside setting. The Casnovia Barn beautifully blends historic character with modern updates, all set in the heart of West Michigan’s Apple Country. It has that perfect mix of warmth, elegance, and countryside charm while still feeling elevated and refined.
During my first visit last fall, the grounds had just been freshly plowed as the team began preparing the landscaping that will soon showcase expansive lush greenery. Even in its early stages, the vision was evident. I cannot wait to see how the exterior transforms as the landscaping matures. I know it will be absolutely breathtaking against the backdrop of surrounding apple orchards.
Inside the 30-foot ceilings immediately draw your eye upward to three incredible chandeliers that add such a romantic glow. One of my favorite architectural features is the seven six-foot dormers with Juliet balconies that overlook the surrounding apple orchards. Not only do they frame the most beautiful views, but they also flood the barn with natural light.
I had the true pleasure of being one of the first photographers to provide coverage at The Casnovia Barn, and I am honored to now serve as a preferred vendor. It’s incredibly special to document love stories in a space from the very beginning of its legacy.
