St. Pete Beach, Florida Engagement
When Hannah and Will told me they had chosen St. Petersburg Beach for their engagement portraits, I did what any photographer would do…I hopped on a plane and headed to Florida. Honestly, it didn’t take much convincing. I’m always down for a reason to travel, and Florida is one of those places that always feels a little like home…especially because I have family and friends living across the state.
Hannah and Will’s story has taken them on quite the journey. They traveled across the country before eventually settling down in Florida, building their life together step by step along the way. Hearing about their adventures made this session feel even more meaningful. This wasn’t just about engagement photos. It was about documenting the place they now call home.
The soft coastal light, warm sand, and endless horizon made the perfect backdrop for a couple starting a new season together. We wandered along the shoreline, chasing the sunset and letting the breeze and waves set the pace.
Sessions like this are a reminder of why I love what I do. Photography isn’t just about beautiful locations (though St. Pete Beach definitely delivered). It’s about the stories behind the people in front of the lens. Hannah and Will’s story is one I feel incredibly lucky to have documented.
