Jess and Russell celebrated their wedding day at the beautiful Ivy House in Saugatuck, and it was such a joy to capture every moment. Their ceremony took place inside the venue’s climate-controlled glass greenhouse, a stunning year-round ceremony space filled with natural light and lush greenery. The soft light and surrounding plants created such a romantic atmosphere for their vows.
One of the sweetest parts of the day was that Jess and Russell included their dog in their wedding party. As a photographer, I’m always so happy when couples incorporate their fur babies into their wedding day. Of course, we had to capture some fun portraits with their dog, which ended up being some of the most joyful and personality-filled photos of the day. Jess and Russell truly had such a beautiful wedding day. From the ceremony to the celebration with their family and friends, everything felt relaxed, joyful, and full of love.
Later in the evening, they surprised guests with a late-night taco bar, which might just be one of my favorite wedding snacks. If there are tacos involved, count me in! It was the perfect way to keep the celebration going and give everyone a fun treat. To close out the night, we captured a group photo with all of their guests, followed by a private last dance just for the two of them. It was such a quiet, meaningful moment after a full day of celebration. Then everyone gathered outside for a sparkler exit, lighting up the night as Jess and Russell made their way to their getaway car. It was the perfect ending to a truly wonderful wedding day.
